I’m Mark and the Director and Owner of Twentysix Recruitment. My experience and background come predominantly from the Leisure and Recruitment Industry spanning 24 years in total, having worked overseas for Thomas Cook for 10 years and a further 8 years with a large high street recuiter, before finally starting Twentysix Recruitment in 2013.
I’m driven in my work life by service and reputation, and I take my responsibilities in Twentysix seriously. I am a father of twins and a husband to wife and business partner Leanne. I truly believe that my family is the foundation that everything else is built upon.
I have written a short bio on the team below. I could have banged on about them endlessly but thought I’d spare you! The team is forever growing so new members will appear as time progresses. Needless to say that I’m incredibly proud of the team and the work they do.
Alan joined the team at Twentysix in 2014 and brought with him a wealth of experience in both Recruitment and Catering.
Alan is a Chef by trade, spending around eighteen years in total within the industry, holding positions up to Head Chef across a variety of sectors, including Contract Catering, Events, Stadia and Education. Alan spent a further four years working for a large high street recruiter within their Catering division before joining Twentysix.
Alan's experience plays a large part in the service supplied to both the clients and candidates and has resulted in both growth and success. Alan plays an important part in the decision-making process within the business and will continue to be key to the companies success.
A keen runner, Alan is always looking to beat his PB over a 5k distance and has committed to running his first half marathon!
Megan started with Twentysix in 2016 and was completely new to all things administration and recruitment. During her time with us, Megan has become a vital part of the business and is critical to the daily operation.
The Business Administrators role underpins the whole office, from something simple as ordering stationery to more complex tasks such as the weekly payroll, reconciliation of financial reports, and generally keeping us compliant within the industry!
Megan’s Interests include skiing, netball and keeping fit at the gym along with a newly found love for travelling. Megan has aspirations to one day join the Police force, That and marry Harry Styles!
Finance & Business Support
Keli Is a qualified bookkeeper with experience spanning many years within the finance and accountancy sector with pedigrees in both Practice and Industry.
Keli works for Twentysix as a freelance Bookkeeper and Financial Controller and has been integral to the back-office operation, streamlining the sales and purchase ledger, improving credit control and accuracy of processing. Keli typically works three days per week, in which time she generates about a weeks worth of work!
Aside from her work ethic and high standards, Keli brings a great sense of humour to the team and is often found laughing, joking and singing away to her favourite radio station! We are lucky to have her in the team (Apart from the singing)
Hailing from Stamford, Peterborough, Will joined the team at Twentysix in September 2019 as a Resourcing Consultant whilst currently studying Business & Management at the University of Kent.
Will directly supports the Senior Consultant team with sourcing and shortlisting candidates for our national client portfolio. Will is the first contact for screening candidates, ensuring only those with the relevant skills and experience are considered.
Will's organisation, professionalism and communicative approach are just what's needed when dealing with a high number of applications each week!
A keen Arsenal supporter (shame), with a passion for travel, cars and anything to do with tech. When Will is not in Medway studying and working for Twentysix, he supports the business virtually from his family home in Stamford.
Ben joined Twentysix In February 2020, coming from a Human Resource background Ben has a deep understanding of the challenges that businesses face in both recruiting and retaining key talent.
Having worked in HR for many years & a proven track record in specialist recruitment, Ben knows the challenges that internal stakeholders face daily and will be able to use that experience to provide a fantastic 360-degree service to both clients & candidates alike.
In his free time, he is an avid music lover, gig & festival attender as well as having a passion for supporting smaller more local music projects.
