We are working with a small restaurant with rooms, in the search for a Chef de Partie.
Contratced to work 40 hour week, This is a hands-on role, working in a small family led team The hotel has a restaurant that is only open on the following days.
* Friday Evening
* Saturday Evening
* Sundays for lunch service
Wednesday and Thursday are prep’ days and, along with the above days form the working week.
There are occasional days in the week that may have events to cater for but, in general, the main bulk of the busines spans Friday to Sunday.
All food is freshly prepared on site, and nothing bought in. The menu is a traditional British theme, with a choice of 3 or 4 starters, 6 Mains and four desserts.
It’s a simple, but well-designed theme that works well for the clientèle.
Roughly 60-80 covers on a Friday and Saturday, and 120 on a Sunday Lunch service.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a starting salary of around £23,000 per year, 28 days holiday and the opportunity for career progression. There is also the option of a bonus scheme.
This role would suit a Demi CDP looking to make the next step to CDP, as the management offer assistance with ordering, health and safety and are on hand to help develop the right candidate.
