We are working alongside our client, an independent Golf Club based on the outskirts of Maidstone in the search for a Kitchen Manager/Head Chef.
After a huge refurbishment, the site is looking for a new chef to join the small team to provide fantasic meals to golfers, bar snacks and also to cater for society events and functions.
The role entails leading the kitchen on a daily basis, and working alongside the staff to create meals for the 60-70 seat restaurant, alongside freshly made bar snacks.
In the evenings on a weekend, there is a freshly prepared a la carte menu that the client is looking to develop, so input on menus means you’ll be able to really stamp your style on the food you produce.
The site is open for Breakfast and Lunch all week, and open for evenings on the weekend, so you will be required to work regular weekends.
Hours required are between 45-48 per week
In return, there is a starting salary of £25,000-£27,000 with a bonus incentive that the client is happy to set out at interview stage. 25 days holiday.
Due to the location of the site, own transport is essential, as it is not accessible on public transport
