Operations Manager – Education

We are looking for an Operations Manager to manage 15 School Sites based in the West Kent and Dartford areas.
Working Monday to Friday, term time only, you will bes responsible for managing a team of 15 unit managers and their teams, ensuring the following key duties are followed:

 To review the annual budget, with the relevant Area team member
 Maintain food cost throughout each site.
 To monitor the labour budget including agency costs
 Manage promotional days, merchandising and marketing sustains interest in the range of food offered.
 To increase the uptake of the school meals with new ideas and innovation.
 Monitor the compliance of Company policies and procedures, with special reference to Health and Safety and Hygiene practices.
 To conduct site audits, ensuring teams are adhering to local council policies

Responsibilities include:

 To attend regular recorded client meetings, resulting in the expectations and objectives being achieved.
 Ensure personnel policies and procedures are adhered to and all relevant paperwork is compiled.
 To have a full understanding of DBS processes and policies
 Spend time in each unit and provide appropriate support to staff and Unit Managers
 To identify the strengths and weaknesses of the teams and provide relevant training, counselling and support.
