Shifts vary slightly but are usually 8am-5pm.This role is available on a temporary basis, but is ongoing work on the Isle of Sheppey..Start date is immediate, but you will need to undergo a security clearance. Main responsibilities of the position are:* Catering in part of a team for up to 1000 people* Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to* Assisting with clear down and clean up after service* Monitoring equipment checks* Supervising a small teamIn return, you can expect a basic pay rate of £18.00ph Monday to Friday, £22.00ph Saturdays and £24.00ph Sundays.You'll also accrue holiday pay on top of these rates, be paid weekly and have the option of joining a company pension scheme.This role would suit a candidate that is capable of dealing with fast service, while multi-tasking and working well under pressure.Communication is important in this Chef Supervisor role, so the ability to liaise with customers and clients quickly, in a polite manner and also deal with complaints and questions efficiently is desirable.The cooking skill set required is at a Chef De Partie level.
